New Delhi. According to the big news of the afternoon, the Supreme Court has become a bit strict in the security lapse case with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy in Punjab on Wednesday, 5 January. At the same time, the Chief Justice of the country, Justice NV Ramana (CJI NV Ramana) has also given strict instructions to protect the travel records of the Prime Minister and all the necessary facts found by the investigating agencies. Let us tell you that due to the blockade by the protesters in Punjab on Wednesday, the Prime Minister’s convoy was stuck on the flyover in Ferozepur for about 15 to 20 minutes. Thereafter he returned to Delhi from Punjab without attending any program including a rally. In this regard, Home Minister Amit Shah had said that such negligence in the security process during the visit of the Prime Minister is completely unacceptable and accountability will be fixed.
It is to be known that a big political controversy has now arisen due to this incident. While the BJP has alleged that the ruling Congress in Punjab “tried to physically harm” the prime minister, other parties also attacked the state government over the law and order issue. At the same time, the Center has also constituted a three-member committee on Thursday to investigate the matter.
