Bollywood veteran actor Sunil Shetty has invested an undisclosed amount in the startup Veeroots Wellness Solutions Pvt Ltd (VWS) with an estimated valuation of around Rs 100 crore.
In a press release, Sunil Shetty said,

He adds that, “Veeroots sees a world where people live long, healthy lives by taking responsibility for their bodies and minds. They provide a pleasant synergy between modern science, technology and centuries-old wellness concepts. , Which gives innovation a place in the wellness industry. I am positive that my engagement with the brand will boost its prospects. ”
Veeroots, founded by renowned wellness campaigner and bio-hacker Sanjeev Nair in 2018, is a Kochi-based HealthTech startup and is a leader in personal lifestyle management using epigenetic science. It claims to provide world-class research-based products and services for those who aspire to live healthy and productive lives.
Epigenetic lifestyle modification is a three-step method that includes the Vigenome test, the Weroots app- Epilimo, and a detailed individual lifestyle modification plan. Through this process, users get information about all the diseases that they have inherited from their ancestors. This information helps users to modify their lifestyle to prevent potential threats to their health.
The medical and genetic experts at VeRoots create a personal wellness management plan based on the genetics and metabolism of the user. Reacting to the news of the funding, Sajeev Rajeev, president and chief mentor, Veeroots, said,
