According to the data released by the Health Department, 36,265 people have been found corona positive in the state in the last 24 hours. While 13 deaths have been registered. After getting new patients in the state, the total number of infected has increased to 67,93,297 and the number of dead has increased to 1,41,594.
According to the bulletin issued by the Maharashtra Health Department, 8,907 people have returned home after getting corona free in the last 24 hours. So far 65,33,154 people have been cured of corona in the state. At present, 1,14,847 active patients are being treated in the state. The recovery rate was 96.17 and the death rate was 2.08 percent in the state today. At the same time, 5,85,758 people are in home quarantine and 1,368 people are in institutional quarantine.
876 Omicrons infected in Maharashtra
According to the Health Department, 79 cases of Omicron have been registered in Maharashtra within 24 hours. The maximum number of 57 new patients have been found in Mumbai, while 7 in Thane, 6 in Nagpur, 5 in Pune city, 3 in Pune Rural and 1 in Pimpri Chinchwad. The number of Omicron infected in the state has increased to 876. However, the good thing is that so far 381 people have become virus free among the Omicron infected.
