Nashik: Due to non-deposit of funds of Rs 13 lakh in the account of Empathy Foundation for the construction of the building near the office of Nashik Zilla Parishad, the rooms of the primary school building in Dahiwadi village Construction has stopped. Rambhau Gade, a social worker from Dahiwadi, has demanded that the Zilla Parishad should immediately transfer the outstanding amount from his account to the foundation’s account and complete the construction of the building.
The classrooms of the old Zilla Parishad building at Dahivadi on the Nashik-city district border were demarcated by the gram panchayat in 2014. The then headmaster Baban Gosavi had sent a proposal to the foundation to build a class room in the school. The Empathy Foundation approved the school’s proposal and approved funding. According to the proposal sent by the school to the Zilla Parishad, Rs 22 lakh was sanctioned.

The building work started after people deposited fifty percent amount in the account of Empathy Foundation. The Zilla Parishad deposited Rs 8 lakh 56 thousand in the foundation’s account. The school also deposited 40 thousand rupees in the account of the institution. At present, 80 percent work of the school building has been completed. But due to non-receipt of the remaining 13 lakh 26 thousand 400 rupees from the Zilla Parishad, the organization has stopped the building work. This is causing academic loss to the students.
The foundation has informed that till the amount of Rs 13 lakh 26 thousand 400 of the Zilla Parishad is not deposited in the account of the foundation, the work will not start. He discussed the matter with sitting MLA Manikrao Kokate and Zilla Parishad member Seemantini Kokate. But, no action has been taken in this regard. Keeping in mind the interest of the students, immediate relief is needed by allocating the amount to the Zilla Parishad.

Now the organization has imposed an obligation to distribute an amount of Rs 13 lakh to the Zilla Parishad. Villagers are expressing the feeling that the Zilla Parishad is not in a mood to provide funds.
