Laxman termed the result as a morale boosting ideal win ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
New Delhi, National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief VVS Laxman feels that the Indian Under-19 team’s title win in the Asian Cup deserves more praise as the players were in bad weather ahead of the tournament. Despite the preparation being affected, it was a victory.
India once again proved their mettle in the continent’s top-class tournament as they clinched the title for a record eighth time by defeating Sri Lanka by nine wickets in a rain-hit title match in Dubai on Friday. Laxman termed the result as a morale boosting ideal win ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
