New Delhi: Himachal government completes four years today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Mandi on this occasion, has given a big gift to Himachal Pradesh. He has inaugurated and laid foundation stones of projects worth 11 thousand crores here. Modi said that the government of double engine has completed 4 years. PM Modi said that we have fought against Corona firmly in 4 years, Himalach got the first AIIMS, 4 new medical colleges were approved. He said that the foundation stone for four big hydroelectric projects costing Rs 11,000 crore was laid, which would increase the income of Himachal and increase employment opportunities. The electricity generated here will generate an income of about Rs.125 crore every year.

The PM said that Jairam ji and his hardworking team have left no stone unturned to fulfill the dreams of the people of Himachal. In these 4 years, for 2 years, we have also fought strongly against Corona and did not let the development works stop. He said that Himachal got its first AIIMS in the last four years, four new medical colleges were sanctioned at Hamirpur, Mandi, Chamba and Sirmaur. Just a while back, the foundation stone of four big hydro electric projects costing Rs 11,000 crore has been laid or even inaugurated.
Modi said that Shri Renuka ji is an important center of our faith. Today, a stream has emerged for the development of the country from this land, symbolizing the affection of Lord Parashuram and his mother Renuka. Also, when the Sri Renukaji Dam project on the Giri river is completed, a large area will be directly benefited by it. Whatever income will be generated from this project, a large part of it will also be spent on development here.
The Prime Minister said that our government is also alert about the damage caused to the mountains due to plastic. Along with the nationwide campaign against single use plastic, our government is also working on plastic waste management.
He said that in keeping Himachal clean, free from plastic and other waste, the responsibility of tourists is also huge. We have to make efforts together to stop the plastic spread here and there, plastic going into the rivers, the damage it is causing to Himachal.
The PM said that India is called the pharmacy of the world today, so Himachal has a huge power behind it. Himachal Pradesh has helped not only other states but also other countries during the Corona global pandemic.
Modi said that Himachal has outperformed other states in providing vaccine to the entire adult population. Those who are in the government here are not immersed in political selfishness, but they have given full attention to how each and every citizen of Himachal can get the vaccine.
