Till now, those people could enter such places by showing a report confirming that they were not infected. Already these people are not allowed to sit in the restaurant, they will no longer be allowed to stand in the bar and take food items.
Health Minister Roberto Speranza said in a press conference, “The way the cases of infection are increasing in the last few days, it is necessary to take strict measures to deal with them… ” These rules have been implemented at a time when people in Italy are preparing for the Christmas holiday and family gatherings.
