The listing of the Realme GT 2 on the company’s India website has been spotted by well-known tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) in association with 91Mobiles. On this basis, it can be speculated that the company can present Realme GT 2 as a new handset in the Indian market. However, the brand has not yet confirmed anything about the India launch of the Realme GT 2.
Apart from this, tipster Digital Chat Station via Chinese microblogging website Weibo has reported that the Realme GT 2 Pro does not have a telephoto camera. According to the tipster, Realme has packed a 150-degree ultra-wide lens in the Realme GT 2 Pro. It is being said that this smartphone will come with dual rear cameras.
Realme has already announced that the event of the Realme GT 2 series will be held on December 20. It will be conducted virtual on Facebook and YouTube. However, Realme has not yet revealed which devices will be announced at the event. It is believed that Realme GT 2 Pro will be the main highlight of this event.
The prices of Realme GT 2 Pro have been speculated earlier as well. It is said that the price of this smartphone will be CNY 4,000 (approximately Rs 47,700). There may also be a special variant, which can cost CNY 5,000 (approximately Rs. 59,600).
Talking about the specifications of Realme GT 2 Pro, then this device can come with a 6.8-inch WQHD + OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is likely to have a triple rear camera setup. The main sensor in this will be 50 megapixels. The smartphone could be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
