Mumbai. In the last 10 days, more than 50 cases of Omicron, a new form of coronavirus, have been reported in the country. Despite this, there is a lack of adherence to social distance in India as a ‘social vaccine’. This has been concluded in a survey by LocalCircles.
LocalCircles did this survey to find out if people have become alert after Omicron? The results of this survey say that the number of people who have been vaccinated in the country is increasing rapidly and the daily infection cases have come down below 10,000.
In such a situation, people have started taking care of social distance. On the contrary, the only and surest way to prevent the epidemic is to wear a mask and follow social distance. Scientists and epidemic experts around the world have expressed concern about Omicron.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has described it as ‘a form of concern’. In just a few weeks, cases of Omicron have been reported in more than 60 countries of the world. The survey of LokCircles took the opinion of more than 25,000 people from 303 districts across the country. In the survey, people were asked how people in their city/district/area are now following social distancing norms.
In response, 83 percent of the people said that social distancing compliance in their area is now negligible or zero. Only 11 per cent of the participants said that 30-60 per cent people are still following them. At the same time, two percent said that 60-90 percent people are following these guidelines. At the same time, four percent did not give any opinion on this. (agency)
