Chandrapur, Safari is impossible for the next two months in the world famous Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Project for Chandrapur leased tigers. Tourists have made advance booking to welcome the new year here. The booking done from all the major gates here is full. If a tourist wants to celebrate the New Year in Tadoba, then he can get the benefit of cancellation of the booking done or else he will be able to get the entry only after two months.
It is noteworthy that if seen from the point of view of tourism in Chandrapur district, at present Tadoba-Andhari project is attracting tourists not only from the country but also from abroad. Most of the tigers in the country are available in the sanctuary here, their number is more than 100. This is the reason why many times tigers have been found entering the residential areas of the adjoining areas due to the struggle for the domicile.

Apart from tiger, leopard, chital, sambar, nilgai, wild buffalo, bear, peacock, wild chicken, wild boar, monkey, elephant and exotic birds coming in the changing seasons, rare species of wildlife etc. in this sanctuary. Due to Tadoba being the first choice of tourists from abroad, booking has to be done here months in advance. Only after this the opportunity of tourism is available. Now the booking process has been done online. There are two types of reservation system for gypsy booking, in which there is a system of online booking 120 days in advance, advance booking or tatkal booking 3 days in advance. Advance booking is mostly done. Caterers booking is available on first come first serve basis from the office of Project Director, Tadoba.
Normally, there is a reservation of 60 trains for online booking, which are given entry through 6 gateways. Maximum number of vehicles are allowed 32 vehicles per day from Mohurli Gate. 12 vehicles are allowed daily from Kolara, 06 from Navegaon, 04 from Khutwanda, 04 from Jhari, 02 from Pangdi. Similarly, a total of 18 trains are allowed daily for Tatkal booking. In this, 08 vehicles are allowed from Mohurli, 06 from Kolara, 02 from Navegaon, 02 from Khutwanda.
There is no tourism in Kore and Buffer only on Tuesdays of the week. For the remaining days the sanctuary continues to tour. In this, admission is given in two times at 6 am and 2.30 pm. Generally tourists can do safari for 6 hours. For online booking 120 to 60 days in advance as entry fee, Rs 4000 per vehicle which is taken from Monday to Friday.
Whereas on weekends, 8 thousand rupees are charged on Saturday and Sunday. For booking 59 days in advance, the fee for Monday to Friday is Rs 1000 in advance and for Saturday to Sunday Rs 2000 in advance. For Tatkal booking, this amount is Rs.4000.
Entry flowers at all gates
Here in Mohurli zone, Mohurli core, Khuntwada core, Agjri buffer, Devada buffer, Adegaon buffer, Junona buffer, Mamla buffer come. It has booking flower in all the gates. There is only one train available for night safaris to Junona. Navegaon zone includes Navegaon Kore, Navegaon Ramdegi buffer, Nimdela buffer.
Booking is full at all gates here, in Kolar zone, booking has been done at all gates in Kolara Kore, Palasgaon buffer, Kolara Charurdev buffer, Alijanjha buffer, Madnapur buffer, Sirkheda buffer, Belora buffer. Night safari is available only in Palsgaon buffer. Booking is available at few places in Pangdi zone, Pangdi core, Pangdi buffer, Jhari core, Keslaghat buffer, Jharipeth.
Uncertainty over Omicron threat
