In such a situation, on Sunday morning, he reached Futala pond to kill himself and also jumped into the water. But with the help of the swimmers present there and the Ambazari police, he was safely pulled out of the water. Senior PI Ashok Bagul, who reached the spot, explained to the young man and gave courage to come out of depression. This youth was described as Harsh Rajesh Mendhe (20), resident of Milindnagar, Panchpavli.
Police was doing Panchnama
The incident happened around 8.50 am on Sunday morning. It was the fate of Harsh that then the Ambazari police was doing the Panchnama of the body of an unknown person found in the pond. At this time constable Prashant Gaidhane was on the spot and at the same time Harsh jumped into the pond. Due to the loud sound, the attention of the policemen turned towards Harsh, who was waving his hands and feet in the water. Immediately Prashant Gaidhane and Devidas Jambhulkar, a resident of Chandramaninagar who were walking there, also jumped into the water. He got Harsh out safely. Prashant drew water from his mouth and stomach. After a while he recovered. PI Bagul also reached as soon as he got the information. He took Harsh into confidence and asked the reason for this murderous attempt. Bagul explained to Harsh that life is not lost in the ups and downs of life, it is fought with circumstances.
The accident left a deep shock on the mind
Harsh told that his father is a driver. She has studied only till 10th standard and her sister is studying in Pune. On November 4, he was going to Karanja Lad with his parents in a vehicle. On the way, his mother stopped for a short time and during this time a speeding tipper came out trampling him. He died on the spot. This accident left a deep shock on Harsh’s mind. Since then the desire to live in his mind had ended. So he attempted suicide.
