Keeping this in mind, it has been decided to extend the existing deadline for submission of Life Certificate to 30 November 2021. Now all central government pensioners can submit their life certificate till 31 December 2021. Payment of pension to pensioners will continue during this extended period. The memorandum states that with this decision, it is expected that there will be less congestion in banks and with this people will be able to follow the COVID appropriate behavior while submitting their life certificates during the COVID-19 epidemic.
