In the video, investors have been asked not to give their e-mail address or password to anyone. Do not join scam telegram groups. Do not send any tokens to scammers. Do not reply to fake accounts on social media. block them. Report about them and be alert.
Reacting to the video, Twitter users lauded the SHIB team for proactively bringing up the issue. It is not yet clear whether anyone has been harmed due to this scam.
Launched in August 2020, the Shiba Inu token was created by an unnamed person under the fake name Ryoshi. Modeled after DodgeCoin, SHIB’s mascot is a cartoon form of the Japanese breed of dog Shiba Inu. The SHIB token has gained popularity after registering a rise of 50 per cent. According to the Gadgets 360 price tracker, each Shiba Inu token is currently trading at $0.003279 (approximately Rs.0.000044). America’s famous movie theater chain, AMC Theaters is also looking at taking Shiba Inu tokens as a payment option.
