Bank holidays: Along with the festive season in India, bank holidays have also started. According to the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be closed for five days this week. Apart from this, for the remaining days of the month of October, the work in the banks will be closed for seven days. In such a situation, if any of your work is stuck in the bank, then before leaving, definitely check the list of holidays. It should be noted here that not all banks across the country will remain closed for seven days as some of the holidays which are fixed by the central bank RBI are regional. This means that for some days only banks will remain closed in some states but in other states all banking work will continue as usual. During this time, customers can take advantage of net banking and other online services, as mobile and internet banking will remain operational.
