Share Market News , | BSE Sensex, Nifty50: Domestic stock markets BSE and NSE will remain closed across the country on Friday, October 15, on the occasion of Dussehra. There will also be no trading in the forex market and commodity market. Both BSE and NSE will now resume trading on Monday 18 October. However, trading will start in the commodity market after 5 pm. Multi Commodity Exchange and National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange will remain closed till 5 pm today. After 5 pm, trading will start here and in the evening deals can be taken in the contract. There will be business till 11:30/11:50 pm.

Markets closed at record highs in the domestic market on October 14, the day of weekly F&O expiry. Sensex crossed 61 thousand for the first time and Nifty crossed the level of 18300. The market was supported by buying in heavyweight stocks like Reliance. Apart from this, due to excellent quarterly results, investor interest in IT stocks increased. Banking stocks also rose. On the basis of all this, a trading day ago, the Sensex closed at 61,305.95 with a gain of 568.90 points and the Nifty closed at 18,338.55 with a gain of 176.80 points.

A trading day ago, all banking stocks on the Sensex were up, while the index of other sectors except Nifty’s auto rose. Nifty Auto declined 0.59 per cent while Nifty Bank was the biggest gainer of 1.83 per cent. 22 stocks on Sensex and 34 stocks on Nifty closed with gains.
