The look of the i20 N-Line will be quite aggressive as compared to the regular i20. The N-Line vehicles will be priced slightly higher than the regular variants of the i20.
Hyundai i20 N to be launched next month
Hyundai India has officially confirmed that it will soon launch the sporty N line models in India. There is not much time left for this launch as the first model of the N line series can be launched in the country next month. The car maker has released its teaser video, in which the i20 will be given special N line treatment.
Launched last year, the i20 looks very powerful and stylish and the N Line version is here to take things to the next level. The front part of the vehicle will remain the same as before which will come with a single piece front grille, but the bumpers can be made very aggressive and sharp which will look different from the regular model. Exteriors will get bigger wheels and will come with new alloy wheel design, twin exhaust pipes and N-line badging.
However, here the entire design of the i20 N line will be quite different from the standard. The vehicle will get N line specific inserts which will be in contrast red colour. On the other hand, you will get leather N shift gear, sport seaters and dedicated steering wheel. The testing of the Hyundai i20 N line has already started.
The 1.0-litre turbo GDi will be given in the i20 N line. However, its power output will be the same which will come with 118bhp and 172Nm torque. Talking about transmission options, you will get 6 speed iMT gearbox and 7 speed DCT unit in it.
Hyundai is launching the N-Line vehicles in India to target only those who want sporty appeal. It is too early to say anything about the price at the moment, but it can be said that the price of N-line vehicles will be slightly higher than the regular variants of i20. Hyundai vehicles are very much liked in India. The company focuses from hatchbacks to big vehicles. In such a situation, Hyundai has also benefited from sales in the last few months.
