According to a report in Economic Times, the companies behind this are being told to use the name of PV Sindhu in a wrong way. Among the well-known companies of the country, Pan Bahar, Vicks maker P&G, Apollo Hospitals, Aditya Birla Group are alleging that these companies have used PV Sindhu’s name and pictures for their marketing gains unauthorizedly.

Earlier, the names of some celebrities and athletes associated with sports have been used in an unauthorized manner. According to the brand experts, such handcuffs are done under a gimmick. Legally, such work is considered illegal. Any celebrity holds the copyright in such matters. Therefore, their permission has to be taken for any celebrity’s name, voice, photo or any other personal information or attribute.
