For this purpose, the company has acquired digital platform Epic for about Rs 3,729.8 crore. Byju’s will invest one billion dollars to improve its position in the North American market. The company believes that this will make it easier for children to read digitally. Earlier, Byju’s had acquired Aakash Educational Services a few months back for about $1 billion.
A statement issued by the company said that Epic, a digital platform for reading books for children aged 12 years and below, has been acquired for $ 500 million (about Rs 3,729.8 crore). Through this Byju’s will be able to make its services available to existing global users of Epic. These include more than 20 lakh teachers and more than 5 crore children.

Epic is a great platform for digital studies at the global level. It has a collection of over 40,000 books, audio books and videos from over 250 of the world’s best publishers.
