US Expert on Digital Identity System Like Aadhar: The US expert, citing the experience of the Aadhaar system in India, has recommended to lawmakers that the US create a digital identity system that is inclusive and works for most people. This was stated by Prof. Elizabeth Raineris, Founding Director of the Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab at the University of Notre Dame, at a meeting of the Congress’s Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee.
“We need to create a system that is truly inclusive and works for the majority of people,” Reneris said. Growing Digital ID Market

Digital identity is critical infrastructure
He said, ‘If we are not careful, then we can go from giving identity as a rule to not revealing identity.
