Dork Edition is becoming very popular these days. In such a situation, Tata Motors has introduced a new option in front of the customers by launching the Dark Edition of all these variants. The company hopes that this edition will make a difference in the sales figures.
Altroz Dark Edition
Tata Motors on Wednesday launched the dark range of its Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EVs. The company revealed that bookings for these models are now open and are available at dealerships across the country. Following in the footsteps of the Harrier Dark, which was launched in August of 2019 and has now been updated as well. In such a situation, due to the positive response received by the vehicle, the company has decided to give a different look to the Altroz and Nexon as well.
While the Altroz Dark price starts at Rs 8.71 Lakh, the Nexon Dark price starts at Rs 10.40 Lakh. The Nexon EV Dark has been priced at ₹15.99 Lakh, while the Harrier Dark is priced at ₹18.04 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
What’s special about Altroz Dark
Tata Motors offers the Altroz Dark in the new Cosmo Black exterior body color with a dark tint finish on the R16 alloy wheels. The hood gets a dark chrome addition. On the inside, the theme is highlighted by granite black color tone with metallic gloss black mid pad and leatherette upholstery with deep blue tri-arrow and deco blue stitching. There is also a ‘dark’ mascot on the exterior and ‘dark’ embroidery on the front headrest.
The vehicle has a 1.2 liter Revotron and 1.2 liter turbo engine. Both come with petrol and petrol P. The first engine gets 86PS power at 6000rpm, while the turbo gets 110PS power at 5500rpm. On the other hand, the Revotron gets 113Nm of torque at 3300 while the Turbo gets 140Nm of torque at 1500 to 5500.
What’s special about Nexon Dork
The Nexon Dark from Tata Motors also gets a charcoal black R16 alloy, granite black cladding on the outer body with sonic silver highlights and a ‘dark’ mascot. On the inside, the Nexon Dark also uses a darker interior pack and gets premium leatherette upholstery with tri-arrows on the seats and door trim. The ‘dark’ embroidery goes all the way to the headrest here.
The vehicle is powered by 1.2L Revotron and 1.5L Revotorq engines. It comes in petrol and diesel. Revetron comes with 1199cc. At the same time, the max torque of 170Nm is available on 1750 to 4000. While the 1.5 liter Revotorq comes in a diesel option, in which you get a 1498cc engine and 110PS of power. While torque of 260Nm is available between 1500 to 2750.
The new Nexon Dark will be offered in XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) and XZA+(O) variants in both petrol and diesel fuel options.
What’s special about Nexon EV
Tata Motors’ Nexon EV Dark has been made available in XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants. The company says that these variants will get ‘Premium Midnight Black Exterior Color with Satin Black Humanity Line and Beltline’. Its alloy wheels are in Charcoal Grey.
The Nexon EV Dark will be highlighted by premium dark themed leatherette upholstery with glossy piano black mid-pads, tri-arrows on the seats and door trims, EV blue stitches on the seats and a leatherette wrapped steering wheel. Apart from this, it will also get iTPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). The max power in the vehicle is 129PS and torque is 245Nm.
What’s special about Harrier Dark Edition
The Harrier Dark Edition gets 18-inch Blackstone alloy wheels. Apart from this, the interior has been decorated with a premium dark theme, along with a special dark embroidery in the front seat headrest. The Harrier Dark Edition will be available in a total of 3 trims XT+, XZ+ and XZA+.
