Pakistan has been accused of fostering terror for a long time. At the same time, now the top ministers of the country have also started accepting this. In the Imran Khan government of Pakistan, Home Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has accepted the presence of Taliban in the country. Sheikh Rashid said that families of Taliban terrorists live in many areas, including the capital Islamabad. He said that sometimes these Taliban terrorists are treated in local hospitals.
In an interview given to Pakistani TV channel Geo News, Sheikh Rashid said, Taliban families live in areas like Rawat, Loi Ber, Bara Kahu and Tarnoli in Pakistan. The Home Minister of the neighboring country said, “Sometimes their bodies (terrorists) come and sometimes they come here to hospitals for treatment. Sheikh Rashid’s statement came at a time when Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi claimed that there was no safe haven for the Taliban in his country. In such a situation, once again Pakistan’s pole has been exposed on the issue of terror.
Afghan leaders allege – Taliban uses Pakistani land
Pakistan has often been accused of fostering and supporting the Taliban. However, Islamabad consistently denies these allegations. Afghan leaders say that Pakistan is providing direct help to the Taliban, who have been fighting the government in Afghanistan for the last two decades. Afghan leaders have even said that Taliban terrorists use Pakistani land for insurgent activities. However, Pakistan says that its land is not used for terrorist activities and it takes action against terrorists here.
Qureshi had said this about Taliban
Earlier, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi denied the presence of Taliban safe havens in Pakistan. Qureshi said in an exclusive interview to Afghanistan news channel Tolo News that the leaders of the terrorist group are in Afghanistan. He also denied the existence of such terrorist organizations in Pakistan and said that he has been hearing such talk for decades now. Qureshi was asked whether Pakistan funds the Taliban. On this, he said that these are some such things, which are being said for a long time.
