A passenger jumped from a moving plane at Los Angeles International Airport in America. After this the passenger was detained and taken to the hospital. The officials gave this information. United Express flight 5365 to Salt Lake City, operated by SkyWest, was taking off at 7 PM. During this, a passenger jumped out of the plane.
The passenger initially tried to enter the cockpit, but then he managed to open the service door and jumped off. Airport officials immediately took him into custody on the taxiway. The passenger suffered some injuries due to the jump, which was treated and then admitted to the hospital. The airport said that the plane returned after this incident. The plane did not take off for three hours after the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said no one was injured in the incident.
Second such incident in two days
At the same time, the FBI has been given the responsibility of investigating the case. This is the second such disruption in flight services at Los Angeles International Airport in two days. A similar ruckus had arisen at the airport last Thursday as well. A vehicle attached to a FedEx cargo facility had reached near the airfield. The driver of the vehicle was crossing the runway, but the police took the driver and the car into custody, showing promptness. Police said that the driver did not suffer any injuries. But two runways have been closed.
Passengers alighted from the plane in protest against the rules related to face masks
Earlier this month, the FAA reported that there have been more than 3,000 potential breakouts recorded by unruly travelers so far this year. Which is the highest since the start of record making in 1995. Most of the reported violations were related to passengers refusing to comply with the federal face mask provision on-flight. For this reason, passengers who do not follow these rules are getting off the plane in anger and running away.
