Spacewalk on ISS: There is often a curiosity among people to know how astronauts work on the International Space Station? Now the US space agency NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has told about it in its recent tweet. NASA has shared a video in which French astronaut Thomas Pescat from the European Space Agency (ESA) and Shane Kimberg of NASA are seen installing solar panels on the ISS. This work has been done to ensure the supply of electricity to the ISS.
Thomas and Shane can be seen doing a spacewalk at a distance of 410 km from Earth. Six Roll-out Solar Arrays (iROSA) have been installed in this spacewalk. Which arrived here earlier this month via SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Earlier this week also some solar panels were installed. Solar arrays play a very important role in the ISS. The Space Stacher uses four pairs of solar arrays, which take energy from the sun to provide daily electricity for various research and scientific research.
ISS is necessary to complete the mission
Through these, many missions are carried out in the ends of the earth. The space station will act as a springboard for NASA’s ambitious Artemis mission. Under which astronauts are being sent to the Moon. NASA says that the Space Station will be used to test advanced technologies for human exploration of future missions to Mars and deep space missions. There are currently eight solar arrays, which generate 160 kW of electricity during the day.

Electricity is stored in the battery
Half of the electricity generated is stored in the station’s battery. Which is used when there is no sunlight in the space station. Each solar array generates more than 20 kW of electricity. Significantly, in recent times, the discussion about the space station has also intensified because China is also building its own space station. He is currently not a part of the ISS. It is speculated that he may use his space station for militarization.
