Honda Activa

The company has recalled those vehicles which were manufactured between November 2019 and January 2021. The recall covers commuter models like Honda Activa 5G/6G, Hornet 2.0, CB Shine, X Blade. Apart from this, the company has also recalled the models CB300R, H’ness CB350 sold by its Big Wing dealership.
The reason for this recall is some problem with the reflectors of these vehicles. Therefore, vehicles manufactured between November 2019 and January 2021 have been recalled. Apart from this, vehicles in which reflectors have been changed during this period have also been recalled. The company said that this is a minor problem and it will not cause any major problems. The main reason for this is the wrong positioning of the reflector, due to which some change in the reflection of light can be seen.

If you have purchased your vehicles between November 2019 and January 2021, then your scooter or bike can be recalled. You can visit the websites of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India and Honda Big Wing to check the same. Here you have to enter the 17 digit Unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) frame number of your vehicle and then you will get the information whether your vehicle is affected or not.
Vehicle owners are being contacted through SMS, call and email
If your vehicle is part of the recall, you can select an authorized dealership/service center near you. After this you will get an appointment from the dealership. Apart from this, the company has asked the dealerships to contact the vehicle owners through SMS, call or email so that the affected vehicles can be checked in time. Apart from the website, you can also get information about your vehicle by visiting your nearest dealership.
