SBI Basic Savings Account Charges: The new service charges for SBI Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) account holders will be applicable from 1 July 2021. The new charges will be applicable to ATM withdrawal, checkbook, transfer and other non-financial transactions. SBI Basic Savings Account can be opened by anyone by giving valid KYC documents. The minimum balance required in an SBI BSBD account is zero and there is no limit on the maximum amount in this account. BSBD account holders also get a basic RuPay ATM cum Debit Card. Cash Withdrawal at SBI Branch
The bank will charge after four free cash withdrawals, in which both the branch and the ATM will be charged. In other words, the bank’s BSBD account holder will have to pay a service charge to do more than four free cash withdrawals in a month. Customers have to pay Rs 15 plus GST for each cash withdrawal transaction at the branch or ATM.

SBI said that after four free cash withdrawals, service charge will be taken at all ATMs and branches. After four free withdrawals, all SBI and non-SBI ATMs will be charged Rs 15 plus GST per withdrawal.

Checkbook charge
SBI will give 10 check leave free of cost to BSBD account holders in a financial year. After that 40 rupees plus GST will be charged for a 10 leaf check book. 75 check plus GST will be charged for 25 leaf checkbook. For emergency check book of 10 lev, 50 rupees plus GST will have to be paid. Senior citizens are exempted from the new service charge on the checkbook.
There will be no charge on non-financial transactions by BSBD account holders at SBI and non-SBI branches.
