The organization said that in its view, Israel’s action was “an offense to the sentiments of Muslims around the world and a gross violation of international law.”

The organization appealed to the international community to hold Israel accountable for escalating tensions and to stop attacks on it, which posed a threat to the ‘security and stability of the region’. The organization also reiterated the long-standing attitude of the Arab world of supporting independent Palestine.
