Twitter’s rival Koo launched its ‘Talk to Type’ feature for Indian languages. He said that this is the first social media platform, which has introduced such a feature. This feature will help those users who face difficulty in using the keyboard.
No need to type
The company said in a statement that anyone who wants to share their thoughts can now do it without typing. They can speak their thoughts aloud and the words themselves will appear on the screen. According to the company, all this will happen at the click of a button and there will be no need to use the keyboard in it. It will be in all those Indian languages in which Ku is currently available and it will be the easiest way to share ideas with people in the local Indian language.
The statement said that Koo is the first social media platform in the world, which is using this talk to type feature, that too in regional Indian languages besides English. With this, the regional language will be available in the easiest way for millions of users.
Speaking on this new feature, Koo’s co-founder Upramya Radhakrishna said that this talk to type feature is enchanting and takes creations to the next level for Indian languages. Users no longer need to type long ideas and use the keyboard. He further said that for people who have difficulty typing in local languages, this feature will remove all the difficulties.

It is a micro blogging platform like Twitter. It is available as a website and on iOS and Google Play Store. You can post your thoughts publicly here and can also follow other users. Posts from other users are visible in a feed. Here the character limit is 400. A person can sign up for Ku using his mobile number. Users also have the option to link their Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter feeds to Kuo profile.
