The government highlighted that there is no shortage of difficult vaccines, but better planning. Zero waste of vaccine doses in Kerala: Health Secretary
He also said that there is zero wastage of vaccine doses in Kerala, while on the other hand, there are states where 8–9 per cent of the wastage is occurring. Giving information about the condition of corona virus in the country, he said that the last biggest boom has been left behind and the trend is going up and it is a cause for concern and they constantly share it with the states and union territories. And try to help deal with the epidemic in a more effective way.
Bhushan said that according to the data at 11 am, there are 1,67,20,693 dosas not used for putting up with the states and union territories. From now until the end of April, 2,01,22,960 doses are to be supplied to states and union territories. He further said that it is clear that the problem is the lack of better planning, not the lack of vaccine doses. They have made vaccine doses available to the states and union territories from time to time, and as previously stated, we provide four days supply to the big states at one time and on the fifth and sixth days they replenish the supply. For smaller states, they supply 7-8 vaccine doses at a time and on the seventh or eighth day they are supplied again.

Situation in Maharashtra, UP, Delhi, Haryana and Gujarat worsened: Center
Bhushan said that every state government should find out how many unused dosages are lying at cold chain points and if needed, they should be applied from one cold chain point to another based on the consumption pattern.
He said that Maharashtra, UP, Delhi, Haryana and Gujarat are included in the states of concern. NITI Aayog member (Health) VK Paul said that a serious situation is coming up. While the situation is worse in some states, it is a nationwide problem and the focus on the strategy of Test, Track, Trace and Treat and COVID should continue to adopt the vaccine with appropriate behavior.
