Covid-19 Cases in India: Corona virus cases in the country are breaking records again. This is the first time this year that in the last 24 hours, the number of new patients infected with the virus has crossed 50 thousand. In the last 1 day, 53,476 new cases of corona virus have been reported. This is the highest in 138 days since November 6 last year. At the same time, 251 people died in 1 day. Maharashtra is the most affected state, where 31855 new cases have been reported in 24 hours. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, the total number of infected patients in the country has increased to 1,17,87,534 after the arrival of new cases of corona.
Number of active cases increased
According to the Health Ministry, the number of active cases in the country has increased by 26000 in 1 day. Total active cases have now increased to 3.95 lakhs. So far 1,12,31,650 people have been recovered. So far, 1,60,692 people have lost their lives in Deya. According to ICMR, 10,65,021 corona probes have been conducted in the country within the last 24 hours.
Double mutant variant
In Mumbai and Pune, new records are being made every day in case of virus infection. Punjab is the second most affected state after Maharashtra. So far 206 cases of double mutant variant (E484Q + L452R) have been reported in Maharashtra. However, there is no evidence that cases are increasing rapidly in the states due to the double mutant variant.

Earlier, on March 21, the state had the highest number of 30,535 cases of infection. The death toll in the state has gone up to 53,684. The number of active patients is more than 2.47 lakh.

In the last 24 hours, 1254 new cases of infection have been reported in Delhi, which is the highest in more than three months. There are 6 more deaths in 1 day. Total cases in Delhi increased to 6,51,227 and so far 6.35 lakh people have been cured. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Tuesday ordered that public celebrations be banned during Holi and Navratri.
