MG Motor has issued a statement. In this statement, the company has said that, customers who have booked the vehicle may have to wait longer for delivery. The car maker has said that the demand for our car is very high and one of the reasons for this is that, at the moment, the semiconductor shortage is going on and that is why we are taking a lot of time for delivery.
The company made it clear in its statement that, there can be a delay of 2 to 3 months in delivery. In such a situation, customers may have to contact the dealers here for more information. Currently, the variant of MG Hector for which customers have to wait the most is the mid-spec and fully loaded variants.
The same goes for the three-row Hector Plus of the SUV. The waiting period of Hector Plus is 5 months. Hector is the most famous model of car maker where so far the company has sold a total of 50,000 units after two years of its launch. On the other hand, if you go a little further in this, the waiting period of MG’s All Electric ZS EV is 2 months. The battery and model of the ZS EV have been updated this year.
The MG Hector Plus is a very high-tech SUV with a 2.0-liter diesel engine. If you talk about power, this engine generates an output of 350 Nm at 170 PS. Another SUV in this SUV is a 1.5 liter turbo petrol hybrid unit that generates 250 Nm of torque at 143 PS.
Talking about MG Gloster, the waiting period of this flagship SUV is 4 months. The second variant of MG ZS EV can be launched in the international market soon. The company can launch it under another name.
