Maharashtra
The highest number of cases in the country are in Maharashtra at this time, the number of deaths has also increased. Especially in Pune, the cases have increased continuously. In Maharashtra, 15,051 new cases were reported till Monday this week, which has crossed the total of 23 thousand active cases in the state. With this, 48 people died, due to which the number of deaths has increased to 52, 909. This state alone has more than 58% of the country’s active cases.
Nagpur
A week-long lockdown took place in Nagpur and surrounding areas on Monday. During this time, only essential goods shops were opened. Nagpur is the first city in the country to go into lockdown in the second wave of Corona. Even after the lockdown, many people came out of the house. Many had difficulty convincing the police about their urgent work. By Monday afternoon, the police strictly followed the lockdown, which reduced the movement of people on the streets.
Pune
In view of Corona’s growing case, Pune district administration has imposed night curfew in the area by 31 March 2021. According to the guidelines, people are not allowed to leave from 11 am to 6 am without any emergency. The facility has been provided to those working in Shiftas as well as those working in Emergency Services. People have been asked to carry identification cards. Police will take strict action against those who break the night curfew.
Nashik
Night curfew has been imposed in Nashik from 7 to 7 in the evening. 25 to 30 people have been allowed in ceremonies like weddings. There will be no wedding in the hall after March 15. Whereas hotels with 50% capacity will be open from 7 am to 9 pm. All schools have been closed. Religious sites have also been closed Saturday-Sunday.

Uttarakhand
To prevent Corona infection, the DM of Dehradun has asked to put a complete lockdown in many parts of Mussoorie. According to the order, many cases have increased in Gallway Cottage, St George’s Bungalow, Barlow Ganj.
Mussoorie
All shops and offices have been closed for some time. The district administration has kept the shops of essential goods open. But the district administration will sell them. In all these areas, people have been advised to stay at home. Only one member of the house will be allowed to go to the nearby area to get the goods.
Punjab
Until further notice, a night curfew will be imposed in the Rupnagar district of Punjab. The curfew will be imposed from 11 to 5 in the night.
Mohali, Ludhiana, Patiala
Night curfew has been imposed in many districts including Mohali, Ludhiana and Patiala. The aim is to prevent infection as soon as possible. As of Monday, the number of new cases in the state was 1843, bringing the total cases to 1,99,573. While the death toll has crossed 6 thousand.
Gujarat
The curfew time was extended in five major cities of Gujarat from Tuesday.
Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara
There will be curfew in these four cities from 10 am to 6 am. The timing of this curfew was increased from 12 at night to 10 to 6 at night. All the restaurants, hotels and dhabas have been ordered to be shut down by 10 am from the Ahmedabad municipality. Till last month, 200 new cases were coming out in the state every day. The highest number is in Surat, followed by Ahmedabad, Vadodara and then Rajkot.
