Dharmendra Pradhan said that due to increase in prices in international markets, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased in the country. He said, but this edge is temporary, it will be brought down gradually. Explain that due to the increase in prices, the price of petrol has reached beyond 100 rupees in many cities of the country. Petrol price in Delhi today was 91.17 rupees per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel was Rs 81.47 per liter.
Union Petroleum Minister said, due to increase in oil prices internationally, India also had to increase the prices of oil, but this is temporary. Gradually they will be brought down. The Petroleum Minister further said that both the Center and the States levy taxes on fuels which are currently helping revive the economy after Corona.

The Organization of Oil Producing Countries has decided to cut oil production. Last month, countries linked to the organization, led by Saudi Arabia, cut crude oil production by 6.5 lakh barrels per day.
