The market capitalization of eight of the top 10 companies of Sensex has increased by Rs 1.94 lakh crore in the last week. Reliance Industries (RIL) has benefited the most. On the other hand, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank and State Bank of India (SBI) has declined. During the week, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 60,034.51 crore to Rs 13,81,078.86 crore.
TCS and Kotak Mahindra Bank also increase
Market valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) rose by Rs 41,040.98 crore to Rs 11,12,304.75 crore and Kotak Mahindra Bank rose by Rs 28,011.19 crore to Rs 3,81,092.82 crore. Hindustan Unilever’s market cap increased by Rs 16,388.16 crore to Rs 5,17,325.3 crore. Infosys’ market cap rose by Rs 27,114.19 crore to Rs 5,60,601.26 crore and ICICI Bank increased by Rs 8,424.22 crore to Rs 4,21,503.09 crore.
Similarly, HDFC’s market valuation increased by Rs 1,038 crore to Rs 4,58,556.73 crore and Bajaj Finance increased by Rs 12,419.32 crore to Rs 3,28,072.65 crore.

Loss to these companies
On the other hand, HDFC Bank’s market capitalization declined by Rs 2,590.08 crore to Rs 8,42,962.45 crore. The market valuation of SBI declined by Rs 5,711.75 crore to Rs 3,42,526.59 crore. Reliance Industries retained the first position in the list of top 10 companies. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, SBI and Bajaj Finance respectively. Last week, the BSE 30-share Sensex has risen by 1,305.33 points or 2.65 per cent.
Previously, the market capitalization (market cap) of nine of the top 10 companies of the Sensex fell by Rs 2,19,920.71 crore last week. The Sensex had lost more than three per cent during the week. Among the top 10 Sensex companies, only the market valuation of Reliance Industries had increased.
