Two folks have been arrested at a pro-Palestinian protest in Brixton, south London.
People sat within the street blocking the trail of the police vehicles carrying the arrested protesters, the Metropolitan Police stated.
One man was arrested due to the placard he was carrying – police stated he was detained “on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence”.
Police didn’t launch particulars of what the placard stated.
Met Police stated on X, previously Twitter: “When officers tried to depart the world their car was surrounded by different protesters. Some sat within the street blocking their path.
“Additional officers were deployed and the arrested man is now on his way to custody.”
A male teenager was arrested on suspicion of felony injury of a police car.

Last weekend police handed out leaflets to pro-Palestinian protesters warning them about potential felony offences.
