Two bungalows in South Wales are set to go to public sale with a complete information value of simply £1.
The properties within the village of Crumlin in Caerphilly “occupy an elevated position with fine views across the valley”, auctioneers say.
They add that the tin bungalows are at the moment in a “poor state of repair” – however the website “may offer scope for alternative development such as a detached dwelling (subject to necessary planning consents)”.
Auctioneers haven’t carried out an inner inspection of the properties however they’ve been instructed they embrace:
• Bungalow 1 – entrance, lounge, kitchen, rest room, two bedrooms
• Bungalow 2 – lounge, bed room, kitchen space
There can be land on the sides, rear and entrance of the properties, with a parking space.
The freehold properties have been with their present proprietor since about 2009.
Valuer Sean Roper, from Paul Fosh Auctions, instructed Sky News the bungalows had been now in a “dilapidated” situation.
“We haven’t been able to gain access because it’s so overgrown, although we had a landscaper down there yesterday with a view to make an access to it, so people can see it,” he mentioned.
“We won’t be going inside because it’s probably not safe.”

Setting the information value at £1 had “created a bit of excitement”, in accordance with Mr Roper.
He added: “It’s obviously worth more than that but in auction sometimes if you price them at the right level, they’ll create more interest than they would have done if you’d put a normal price on them.
“We get a number of uncommon properties and bits touchdown within the public sale but it surely’s distinctive in you can’t get inside it and secondly, it is priced at £1.”
The on-line public sale takes place from 12 December to 14 December.
