Dear Chiefs, Agency Heads, and CJIS Reps:
Please be suggested, pursuant to Chapter 81 of the Acts of 2022, the Work and Family Mobility Act (“WFMA”), and the Office of the Attorney General (“AGO”) Regulations 940 C.M.R. 37.04, the RMV is prohibited from offering entry to information or info offered by or referring to an applicant for the holder of a Massachusetts license underneath G.L. c. 90, §§ 1, 8, and 8B, together with personally figuring out info and communications between the applicant and the Registrar of motor automobiles, until required by federal legislation or the place such entry is permitted by rules promulgated by the AGO.
