Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the World Economic Forum today. Prime Minister Modi is addressing the summit in Davos of the World Economic Forum online. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the World Economic Forum said that I have brought here the message of hope and trust of 1.3 billion people. Many people had said that India would be the country most affected by COVID-19. There will be 2 million deaths in our country but nothing like this happened.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that our self-reliant India campaign is committed to supply the world. India has the power to strengthen the world’s supply power. Now India is starting to give unique health ID to its 130 crore citizens. This will enable citizens to get health services easily.
We have launched a self-reliant India campaign to increase the capacity of our economy. India has taken many steps in the last decades to grow its economy. We have made many major reforms. Self-reliant India is also getting contribution and support from industries. We have connected the bank, the phone all with the Aadhar card. India’s digital drive has been a subject of interest for WEF in the last 6 years.
PM said that we stayed in those countries which succeeded in saving the most lives. Now we are also reducing the number of active cases continuously. We also helped other countries to fight the COVID-19 and built the kit. Now we are giving vaccines to our 30 crore health workers. We have given vaccines to about 22 lakh people in the last 12 days. In the next few months, we will give vaccination to 300 million people. During COVID 19, about 1.8 trillion rupees were sent to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Prime Minister Modi said that when the whole world closed its airspace, India brought back its citizens from abroad. We have shown to the whole world how Ayurveda can increase the power to fight diseases.
Speaking on Corona, PM Modi said that today we have 2 Corona vaccines prepared in India. Our vaccines will soon be available to the whole world. He said that the World Economic Forum would be relieved to know that many more vaccines are going to come from India in the coming times. We are handling our global responsibility right from the beginning of this problem. We brought citizens of many countries to their country. We have so far provided medicines to about 150 countries.
The Davos dialogue is going to be the agenda after the COVID-19 epidemic. More than 400 top industrialists from around the world will participate in this conference. During this time Modi will also talk to the CEOs of many companies.
