The arson suspect who allegedly set the 4 suspicious fires in Concord over the weekend has been recognized as a lady, who was despatched to the hospital for analysis, based on officers.
Local, state, and federal businesses are investigating the 4 fires that had been deliberately set on the Concord submit workplace, National Park and a swim middle on Sunday.
The first two fires had been reported at midday on the entrance and rear of Beede Swim and Fitness Center at 498 Walden St., which is situated on the campus of Concord-Carlisle Regional High School.
Then the subsequent fireplace was reported about half-hour later on the U.S. Postal Service at 34 Walden St.
The fourth fireplace was reported about half-hour later at a shed on National Park property at 955 Lexington Road.
No accidents had been reported at any of the scenes. Investigators decided that the fires had been deliberately set.
“One adult suspect was located in Arlington late in the day and sent to an area hospital for evaluation,” the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services mentioned in an announcement.
“The woman was identified in the course of an ongoing investigation by the Concord Police Department, Concord Fire Department, Arlington Police Department, State Police Fire & Explosion Investigation Unit assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office, National Park Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and US Postal Inspectors,” the state company added.
The girl has not been charged at this level, and investigators will seek the advice of with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office because the case continues.
