Earlier this week, Jayson Tatum starred in his first shoe business for Jordan Brand.
On Friday, his first signature shoe – the Jordan Tatum 1 – will probably be launched.
“It’s something I’ve always dreamed about, less than a couple days away. Thankful, grateful, excited, and just enjoying the moment and looking forward to seeing them on kids and grownups’ feet across the country and around the world,” Tatum instructed reporters this week. “So, I’m happy and looking forward to it.”
The Jordan Tatum 1 will launch in a black and purple “Zoo” colorway on Friday. Fans should purchase the sneakers through Nike’s web site for $120 in grownup sizes, $90 in huge children, $75 in little children and $55 in child/toddler sizes. It would be the lightest shoe in Nike’s lineup.
The Jordan Tatum 1 can have three different colour combos beforehand unveiled in February, every a tribute to Tatum’s upbringing and household: “St. Louis,” “Barbershop” and “Pink Lemonade.”
Back in February, Tatum spoke concerning the colour selections and private contact he needed the shoe to have.
“I am very excited about the overall aesthetic and how lightweight it is, but I love the colorways,” Tatum mentioned. “We were able to stay consistent in terms of bringing some of my previous Air Jordan PEs to the first colorways of my signature shoe, giving fans the opportunity to wear what they already like. It’s a direct reflection of me, and that’s what I hope people see and feel.”
