The Premier League’s referees’ physique has admitted “significant errors” within the offside choices that went towards Arsenal and Brighton of their video games on Saturday.
Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) issued a press release after Ivan Toney’s purpose for Brentford was wrongly allowed to face towards league leaders Arsenal, whereas Brighton’s Pervis Estupiñán scored towards Crystal Palace and was incorrectly dominated offside.

Both matches ended as 1-1 attracts, with the PGMOL contacting the golf equipment and blaming the incidents on “human error”.
The organisation wrote on Twitter: “PGMOL can verify its Chief Refereeing Officer Howard Webb has contacted each Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion to acknowledge and clarify the numerous errors within the VAR course of of their respective Premier League fixtures on Saturday.
“Both incidents, which were due to human error and related to the analysis of offside situations, are being thoroughly reviewed by PGMOL.”
Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has known as for VAR official Lee Mason to step down for failing to rule out the Toney equaliser.
