Members of the Wirral group have been paying emotional tributes to Elle Edwards, who was shot lifeless at a pub in Merseyside on Christmas Eve.
Wirral Borough Council chief Jeanette Williams stated the “most heart-breaking aspect” was that the 26-year-old was not the supposed goal of the assault.
Elle was a “gorgeous young woman with a whole life ahead of her”, Cllr Williams advised Sky News.
“She came out on Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas coming in, and she never seen it. And it was the indiscriminate nature of the violence that I think probably sickened most people.”
She described the harmless lady, who was killed whereas out dancing with buddies, as “just so well-loved in the community”.
