Starbucks Corp. baristas looking for union contracts with the espresso chain plan to mount daylong strikes Thursday at greater than 100 cafes, saying administration has refused to discount in good religion.
The deliberate work stoppage is the biggest tried thus far by Starbucks Workers United, which has unionized round 260 of the corporate’s roughly 9,000 corporate-run U.S. websites over the previous yr.
