LYNN, Mass. (AP) — The largest union representing staff for General Electric Co. stated Tuesday it’s reached an settlement with the corporate to hurry up raises for staff at a Massachusetts aviation plant.
Under the deal, staff can be eligible for raises sooner and will attain the highest pay fee after six years of labor, as an alternative of as many as 10 required beneath the outdated system.
Some 540 staff will see their pay go up, or develop into eligible for raises sooner, if the settlement is accepted by staff in a vote set for later this month.
