The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has declared class 10 and 12 board examination outcomes which revealed that ladies have outperformed boys in High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination for sophistication 10, and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination for sophistication 12. The exams have been scheduled to be carried out in March.
According to Asano Sekhose, NBSE chairperson, HSLC had 28,938 candidates, and within the HSSLC, there have been 17,121 college students, whereas 1,392 candidates have been enrolled for HSLC Compartmental examination.
In HSLC, 18,721 candidates have been profitable, a move share of 64.69. It is the bottom within the final 5 years, she mentioned.
Last 12 months, 69.42 per cent of candidates have been declared profitable, she added. The ladies carried out higher than the boys with 10,021 ladies declared profitable, as in comparison with 8,700 boys.
Among the highest 20 candidates, 44 are ladies and 18 are boys. Delphi Oinam of Don Bosco HSS Dimapur secured the highest spot, scoring 595 marks (99.17 per cent). Rhea Khemani of Holy Cross School Dimapur with 593 marks (98.93 per cent) bagged the second spot, whereas Vitshunuo Alvina Dzüvichü of Don Bosco HSS Kohima with 589 marks (98.17 per cent) secured the third spot.
Sekhose mentioned that 90 colleges secured a 100% success price. Of them, 78 are personal colleges and 12 are authorities. There have been 34 colleges that had zero success price. Of them, 33 are authorities colleges and one is personal faculty.
The move share of presidency colleges is 36.62, whereas that of personal colleges is 82.08, the official mentioned. In the HSLC Compartmental examination, out of the 1,392 candidates, 901 certified the examination, recording a move share of 64.73, she mentioned.
In HSSLC Arts stream, the move share was 80.64, the very best within the final 5 years. Limasungla of Christian HSS Dimapur secured the highest place with 488 marks (97.60 per cent).
In HSSLC Commerce stream, the move share of 82.28 was additionally the very best within the final 5 years. Subhansu Jaiswal of Holy Cross HSS Dimapur topped the stream with 493 marks (98.60 per cent). In HSSLC Science stream, the move share was 88.24, which is a lower from final 12 months’s 91.35 per cent.
