An anti-encroachment drive scheduled to happen in northwest Delhi’s Sultanpuri space was cancelled on Thursday as a consequence of unavailability of enough police drive, civic authorities stated. According a North Delhi Municipal Corporation official, the drive to take away short-term and everlasting encroachment from roads and authorities land was scheduled at Sultanpuri’s Jagdamba market.
“The anti-encroachment drive was scheduled to be carried out in Jagdamba Market area of Sultanpuri for Thursday but it did not take place as we could not get adequate police force,” the official instructed PTI.The official stated an encroachment removing drive was cancelled on Wednesday too at Sultanpuri’s Fish Market space as a consequence of unavailability of police drive.
A sequence of anti-encroachment drives had been carried out by the three civic our bodies in numerous elements of town within the final one month, together with Shaheen Bagh, Jahangirpuri, Madanpur Khadar, New Friends Colony, Mangolpuri, Rohini, Gokulpuri, Lodhi Colony, Janakpuri amongst others.
